Getting help

If something is not working as expected, email [email protected] with your device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened.

Common fixes

• Update to the latest version of Spellr from the App Store.
• Restart the app if audio, ads, or leaderboards do not load.
• Check your internet connection for ads, cloud leaderboards, and private groups.
• Check iOS Settings if Game Center, iCloud, notifications, or advertising preferences need changing.

Gameplay help

• Find words of at least four letters in the 9-letter grid. There is always at least one nine-letter word.
• Tap letters to build a word; shuffle the grid if you need a fresh look.
• The Daily Challenge has a five-minute timer. Training mode has no time limit.
• Use Archive to replay previous daily boards without affecting today’s leaderboard scores.
• Set your nickname and avatar in Settings so you appear consistently on leaderboards.

Scoring and accuracy bonuses

Word points scale with length (100 for four letters up to 740 for nine). When you finish a run with at least five unique accepted words and eight counted submissions, you can earn an accuracy bonus of up to 30% of your base score for clean play. Total-score leaderboards use this new scale; words found, streak, and fastest nine-letter boards are unchanged.

Private leaderboards

• Create a group: open Leaderboards → Private → Create, choose a name and optional group avatar, then share the invite code.
• Invite friends: share the 6-character code or invite link from Manage.
• Manage members: admins can remove players or allow them back; anyone can leave from Manage.
• Join: tap Join and enter a friend’s code, or open an invite link.
